Green Energy
Green energy refers to sources of power that do not damage our environment. Unlike our current fossil fuel-based energy sources, green sources of energy are renewable and do not cause problems with pollution to our air or water. Solar, wind, and geothermal are all examples of clean energy.
Solar is currently one of our best sources of green energy. It is the most abundant source of energy in the solar system and can be harnessed relatively easily. Today’s photovoltaic technology is vastly superior to that of just a decade ago, and improvements are continuing.
Wind power is quickly gaining traction as a viable source of green energy. Wind farms are being built in many locations throughout the world and are providing power for hundreds of thousands of people. While wind power is currently in its infancy, the demand is growing at an astonishing rate.
